My name is Damian Rządca. I come from Lesko in the Bieszczady mountains of Poland, and today I live and play in the United Kingdom.
I first stood behind the decks in 1998. As DJ Bela I played until 2012 — starting out at the Gwarek club by Lake Solina. In 2012 I experienced a spiritual conversion that changed the direction of my life. After years away, I returned to music in 2022 as DJ DamianR — with a new name and a new mission.
My playing moved from clubs to private and community events — weddings, birthdays, family gatherings and Christian celebrations with dance and worship. I move freely between genres, from disco polo to house, and I’m at my best in front of a dancing crowd.
From Solina to London — my road is also a story of emigration and new beginnings. You can hear it in tracks like “When Life’s Storm Is”. I play and produce for people looking for motivation and faith in music.
I have spent nearly three decades behind the decks. My sets bring together the nostalgia of my Bieszczady beginnings, a danceable rhythm and the Holy Spirit — a sound outside the mainstream that gives every event a character of its own.
How my music is made
I create songs inspired by the Bible — psalms in the rhythm of hip hop, stories of biblical people in disco sounds, worship music. I regularly publish new mixes on SoundCloud, including tracks like “W Imię Ojca” (“In the Name of the Father”) and “When Life’s Storm Is”. In 2025 I released the album “Projekt Życie Vol.1” on Audiomack. I produce my tracks with the Suno tool, drawing their words straight from the Gospels and the Psalms. No profanity — a message of hope and truth.
“Go into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature.”
Mark 16:15
This verse is the mission of my music, and the answer to why I came back behind the decks.
